Hello! I am looking for photos, clippings or whatever you may have of the old OPEN HOUSE Bands RT SOUND, LOVE & PASSION, UNIT III and WOWii. Also, if this is not available, a list of names of the Members of these Bands will be enough. I need anybody that was a member of these bands or other Open House Bands to please contact me via this Forum.

The original Smile band Darryl Gilley Bass.... Ron Fontes Keyboards...Billy Arseneau Guitar.... Ray Lenahan Drums are planning on playing at the While We Still Can Reunion II or WWSCII on Monday Dec 14, 2009 at Cheers in Ft Lauderdale . a later version of Smile with Mike Demchack will also do a song or two. Cameron used to play concerts for the organization called PACE (Performing Arts for Community and Education) at various locales around Miami. The org was part of the AFofM and was run by them. PACE paid a nominal fee for the concerts, which usually took place on a portable trailer stage. Later, we had a dispute with the union and sent them back our cards, and didn't do the shows for a while, but later they approached us about doing more dates even though we were no longer union...

During the several years that Cameron played at Art Stock's Playpen South, we played opposite another band whose name I can't recall. The guys were nice to us--they had a guitar player named Crow who played a Les Paul (later a strat) through an Echoplex into a Marshall. I sold my Les Paul to the other guitar player in that band--it was pretty worn by that time;

30th anniversary of MAX DEMIAN debut album TAKE IT TO THE MAX

It is now been 30 years ago since one of the best rock bands of all time IMO MAX DEMIAN came out with their first album TAKE IT TO THE MAX.I remember the song "Having Such A Good Day" being one of the most played songs on the local FM AOR station WKQQ,the station I was listening to at the time.Any thoughts?

First album I ever bought was the first Aerosmith LP (the one that says 'featuring Dream On' on the cover). It had to have been 1978 because I wanted to buy Aerosmith "Live Bootleg" which had just come out but I didn't have enough money. I rode my bike to the Broward Mall and bought it at Musicland.

Aerosmith has really sucked ass over the last 20 years or so, but that first album as well as alot of their pre-1980 stuff, still holds up. Totally gritty rock and...

Here's some photos I shot of Harvey Mandel (Canned Heat, John Mayall, Rolling Stones, etc..) at the Tight Squeeze back in the late 70s'. Billed his band as the Mandel Machine. One of my fave guitarsts who did some great recordings. In particular, "Baby Batter" and "The Snake" LPs....

Bethlahem Asylum was a local Coconut Grove band who lived In A round House that is now a synagouge .......I couldn't believe the outragious parties and women they always had........One of their members of Notoriety was Chalie Dechant ---Played Sax , keys and flutes and vocals with Hall and Oates for years He's the one with the long blond hair ....I would have killed to be in that band at that time 1971 ?
