Hey Russ,

Our little get together at Grenolds Park was a blast. It went by so fast. It was a pleasure to be with all you guys again, even if it was just for a little while. I consider it an honor to be in the presence of such great musicians and guys as you, Roy Sluzis and Bob Smith. I am in awe.

Yea, Dewey Bond. What a trip that guy was. John McNichol used to call him "mudfish" cuz he looked like a mudfish. John had nick names for everyone, I don't remember what he called me, if it was anything like mudfish, I don't think he would have said to my face....Ha. He used to call Roy "The Sphinx" because of his hair doo. What a funny guy John was. And Lee Lobben, the organ player. Here's a true story about Lee. I know this is true because I recently talked to Roy about this and he confirmed it.
Before I joined the group (Sumersault) to replace Lee (not on organ but bass) they had a rehersal at Lee's house. During the whole rehearsal Lee was eating dinner. He never offered anything to any body not even a drink during the whole deal. Then when it was over, he wanted everyone to chip in to pay for the electricity that they used with their amps on all that time. I love it. That takes guts......Later. Chazbo
