In 1967 Tessler was in a band with John McNicol and Bob Leavitt of the Hustlers. They played at Mother's Lounge, but Tessler didn't really mesh with the other guys and that was that. He cut a demo called "Why" that was in a Dylan vein (or maybe a Mouse & The Traps vein). My late friend Sparky Kusiak owned the only known copy at one time. It has been featured on a Gear Fab compilation.
I'm not sure which band he was with in the Capri Club days.
