I literally "ran into" Bo Diddley once in Gainesville. He was on the same plane as our WCIX news team. We were on our way to Starke to interview Frank Fuster, the infamous Country Walk child molester from the 80s. We didn't know he was on the same plane, but after we walked toward the door, we noticed Bo, and he and I walked into one another as we tried to deplane. He noticed our camera equipment, and got out an 8X10 picture of himself and autographed it. Our photog rolled tape as he signed the pic. I enjoyed meeting Bo a lot more than meeting Fuster. That guy was really creepy. That was one of my favorite news trips, thanks to Giselle Fernandez, who was the reporter. She was a blast to work with.
