Actually, that album got the Briarwood Singers the
gig of a lifetime...opening for the Beatles at Carnegie Hall.

Both groups were signed to United Artists and as I remember
the story...Leroy Holmes ( UA's A&R) was so smitten with Dorinda he arranged the to have the Briarwood Singers open.

I wasn't in the group at that time but Barry told me a great
story...the whole set was a barrage of jelly beans and screaming histerical females. It seems John, in an interview
mentioned he liked jelly beans...

It was like throwing lambs to the wolves...yet, how many
would trade that moment?
