We will all remember his great personality, his quick wit and his desire to laugh at even the most dire of times. He was a legend if only for a short time... but will be a legend for eternity for us.

"WildMan" Bill, Bill Kerti to his family and friends, passed away suddenly June 15, 2009. He is survived by his three sisters, Debbie, Pam and
Eileen. He will always be remembered for his "wildman" persona on stage with the Echoes. He was in close contact with Don Goodson until his death,
and Kenny Ahern. Any fond memories or special notes anyone wishes to share would be greatly appreciated and you can email them to Eileen0204@aol.com.

It is hard to believe. You just never think your friends and ex band members will pass on. But now two are gone. I would periodically speak with Bill,
however it has been years since I have seen him. He was one of the most unique people I have ever worked with. I believe Jim Sessody penned the nickname
"Wildman" (or maybe it was Steve Palmer). I know they were crazy about his style and antics on stage and always got a kick out of him. It will be
impossible to ever forget him...he will live on in my (and many others') memory. He was always kind to everyone around him and probably the most thankful
guy I have ever met. RIP Bill.

I never knew Bill personally, or any other of the members of the Echo, but they were one of the most notable of the South Florida bands. The passing of yet
another musical brother is a reminder of how precious life is - and how blessed we all have been to be part of this heritage. "While we still can..."
indeed. We'll all be dedicating songs to you from our respective stages this weekend, "Wildman". Show the Brothers up There how it's done....

This is very sad news. My band, Sidewalk's End, often shared the stage with The Echo at the Ft. Laud. Armory and I fondly remember Bills warm smile,
friendliness and kindness. As Chuck said, "While We Still Can" - we should make every effort to get together as often as we can - we were pretty much
all friends back in those days and shared the amazing musical heritage of a very prolific S. Florida music scene. It was a magical tapestry of music,
personalities and culture. How very blessed we all are to have been part of it.

I didn't know "Wildman" but he was a part of our fraternity. My deepest sympathies go out to his friends and family.

I remember Billy and Don Goodson was a good friend and to see these guys pass away just reminds me how old we all are getting. Rest in peace Billy from another
bass player of that generation. Paul Stephenson
