I made contact with Jeff a short time ago and just wanted to mention that around 300 of us are have a 'tribute to Florida Soul' as part of the SOULTRIPUSA event, being held at the Doubletree Resort, International Drive, Orlando during the week of March 23-30.
Our main LIVE night is SATURDAY, March 26th 8-2 in the Ballroom.
At this stage I am looking for as many musicians, artists, label owners from the 60's/70's Florida wide.
The obvious contacts such as the likes of Henery Stone, Gwen Mcrae and a few 'invaders' such as Bobby Smith of the Detroit Spinners have been in touch.
But of course, we need as many contacts as possible, to enable us to not only Network with each other, but to generate a memorable International get together.
If you can offer any leads, I would be most grateful.
